Kolkata Knight Riders registered a thumping 10-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in their opening contest of IPL 2021 campaign on Sunday. Eoin Morgan's side dominated the contest from the beginning and always looked in control of the match. It was a complete team performance by the franchise which surely delighted their charismatic owner, Mr. Shah Rukh Khan.
SRK praises the team as KKR win their 100th IPL match
KKR's owner was undoubtedly delighted with the team's performance as they completed a century of wins in the Indian Premier League. It is an incredible milestone for one of the most successful franchises in the tournament, who became champions in 2012 and 2014. SRK was also full of praise for most of the KKR players who made vital contributions in the contest.
King Khan also had a few words for veteran Harbhajan Singh who made his debut for the franchise on Sunday. Talking about Bhajji, SRK quoted, "Good to see you even if briefly." Surprisingly, the off-spinner bowled only one over in the contest. The 40-year-old bowled an impressive over and almost got the wicket of David Warner had a catch not dropped off his bowling. Reflecting on a fantastic team performance, the KKR owner concluded by stating that all the players were good to watch in Chennai.
