He further informed that as the movie release is coinciding with the Indian Premier League and he will be excited to join the former cricketers on the Star Sports commentary box and share his views on the game. Jersey is about a talented but failed cricketer who decides to return to cricket in his late thirties driven by the desire to represent the Indian cricket team and fulfill his son’s wish for a jersey as a gift.

Speaking of IPL, Mumbai Indians will lock horns with debutant Lucknow Super Giants at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. It will be a must-win game for Rohit Sharma & Co. as the side has already been beaten five times in a row, and any more defeat in the tournament will mean the five-time champions will be out of the playoffs race.

Mumbai Indians played their last game against Punjab Kings where they lost the game by 12 runs. Dewald Brevis and Tilak Varma smashed 49 runs and 36 runs respectively for Mumbai Indians in that game. On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants played their last game against Rajasthan Royals where they lost the game by only 3 runs. Quinton de Kock and Marcus Stoinis scored 39 runs and 38 runs respectively for Lucknow Super Giants in that game.
