The Men in Blue took off for the much-awaited Sri Lanka tour on Monday. The second-string side of Team India will be playing three ODIs and likewise T20Is in the island country in the month of July, starting from 13. The side will be led by a new captain in the form of Shikhar Dhawan, under a new coach in former Indian cricketer and captain Rahul Dravid.

The Indian contingent landed in Sri Lanka on Monday after successfully completing the mandatory quarantine in Mumbai. The side, who are on a four-week long tour of Sri Lanka will be playing limited-overs series, starting with ODIs from July 13 in Colombo.

Notably, the players will be serving three-days under hard quarantine before taking on the field for practice ahead of the series. With the regular skipper and key players in England, the team will be led by Shikhar Dhawan and his deputy Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
