As Team India ended their 3-day hard-quarantine in Sri Lanka on Thursday, everyone finally had a chance to get out of their rooms for the first time. BCCI had shared a picture of the team members enjoying a session in swimming pool a couple of days back. However, they had also promised that they will release a fun video of the whole day to give the fans an idea about what the players are up to. After a two-day wait, the footage has finally been released on Saturday.

With some new faces in the side, the management decided to start off with an ice-breaking session for everyone. The players were involved in a lot of fun activities like footvolley and pool volley and had an enjoyable time after a long quarantine. Reflecting on the same, India's coach Rahul Dravid's said, "It's been nearly 17-18 days since we have been in some kind of quarantine. So, really good for the boys to be able to get out and just get moving a little bit. Just wanted them to get their legs moving and their arms going because lot of them wouldn't have thrown for a really long time."

What happened during the intra-squad tournament?

As part of the fun activities, the players were divided into 4 teams as they competed in an intra-squad footvolley tournament. Shikhar Dhawan led side - also featuring Prithvi Shaw and Ruturaj Gaikwad - defeated the side captained by Bhuvneshwar Kumar which had the likes of Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh in the semi-finals.

As it panned down, Gabbar's side went on to win the tournament with other teams featuring Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav also getting knocked out. Talking about the defeat, Suryakumar said, "One thing that we have learnt is that we never lose or we never win. We learn," as Hardik revealed that this is the reason they say that SKY is the limit.
