Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar has recently launched the motion poster of his upcoming biopic and claimed the movie to be the first foreign film about a Pakistani sportsman. The 46-year-old legendary bowler hosted a Q&A session with the fans following his announcement on social media.

Shoaib Akhtar took to Twitter and shared a 25-second motion poster of the upcoming film on his life "Rawalpindi Express - Running against the odds" and hosted a Q&A session with the fans.

Akhtar tweeted, "Beginning of this beautiful journey. Announcing the launch of my story, my life, my Biopic, 'RAWALPINDI EXPRESS - Running against the odds'. You're in for a ride you've never taken before. First foreign film about a Pakistani Sportsman. Controversially yours, Shoaib Akhtar"

"Q & A for half an hour about this & a lot more. Use the hashtag #RawalpindiExpressTheFilm and you may get lucky with a response," the legendary pacer added in the Twitter thread.

A fan asked the Pakistani legend to give one word for Virat Kohli and the former cricketer quickly responded, "Legend Already."

Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been out of form in international cricket and yet to score a century since 2019. The cricket world is divided on the matter as many experts and fans are criticizing Kohli while others are supporting the 33-year-old batsman. Shoaib Akhtar has earlier backed Virat Kohli amid criticism from veteran cricketers.

The biopic on Shoaib Akhtar is directed by Muhhammad Faraz Qaiser and is set to release on November 16, 2023.
