Delhi Capitals skipper Shreyas Iyer, who has been ruled out of IPL 2021 due to shoulder injury, is certainly not missing out on any opportunity to entertain the fans on social media. As the Rishabh Pant-led side reduced Rajasthan Royals to 42/5 in the 10th over of the game, Iyer posted a hilarious story on Instagram.

Iyer reveals Dhawan's condition post RR clash

During the match against Rajasthan, Delhi's Gabbar had a rather disappointing outing with the bat after he was dismissed at a score of 9 runs. However, Dhawan was right in the middle of all action when Delhi Capitals came out to bowl. As the bowlers impressed, the ball kept on chasing the Indian opener as the 35-year-old took three catches in the innings to dismiss Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube and Riyan Parag.

After every catch, Dhawan celebrated in his trademark style as he performed a 'thigh five'. Reflecting on the fact that Gabbar did the celebration quite a lot of times during the match, Sheyas Iyer posted a photo of 'red bruised thighs' with the caption, 'Shikhar Dhawan after this game'.
