It was an action-packed day of cricket at Panther Cricket Stadium in Jaipur on Friday. The ongoing Sspark T20 Cricket Cup has already given so many youngsters a platform to showcase their talent. Day 5 of the tournament saw a few more stars who displayed their abilities and skills and put on an impressive show.

RYCC wins a nail-biting contest on Friday

The first match of the day began with Rajasthan Youth Cricket Club (RYCC) winning the toss and electing to bat against Prime Sports Club. The batting side struggled to get going as Poorav (4/13) bowled an outstanding spell up-front to completely dismantle the opposition. However, opener Shubham Meena (man of the match) was unfazed by wickets falling at other end as his gritty knock (39 runs off 46 deliveries) on a challenging pitch took RYCC to a total of 105.

Chasing the target, Prime Sports Club (PCC) started off steadily scoring 23 runs without any loss of wicket. However, the match turned upside down afterwards as Krishan Chaudhary (2/15) and Rohit Bisht (2/5) got their side back to the contest. PCC collapsed from 23/0 to 34/5 and could never recover as they fell short of the target by 7 runs after the completion of 20 overs.

The duo added 155 runs in only 76 deliveries for the second wicket as SCC posted a mammoth 235/6 in the first innings.

In reply, Jaipur Cricket Club (JCC) never looked comfortable in the chase as they kept losing wickets regularly. Rajiv Duktava (4/36) and Yagyanik Sharma (4/23) bowled brilliantly as SCC were bundled out on 119, handing JCC a comprehensive 116-run victory.
