There is no doubt about how popular Virat Kohli is globally. The former India captain is not only counted among the top cricketers but top athletes in the world. He has a massive fan following. He is also among the top celebrities when it comes to the number of social media followers. Virat Kohli has over 180 million followers on Instagram. He is the most followed athlete after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

To prove this fact, the amount for which a signed jersey by Kohli is being sold is enough. English cricket news media house Wisden is selling a Virat Kohli signed jersey for £2,499.99 which roughly converts to INR 2,42,905.78. The T-shirt is framed and being sold as the only available piece. "This extremely rare Signed Virat Kohli Framed India Shirt is one of 10 signed memorabilia pieces hand-selected and sourced for The Wisden Shop," is written in the description of the ad.

Virat Kohli seeking redemption

While the cricketer has made a name for himself with his thumping performances across the globe, he is struggling to produce one of them these days. Kohli is probably having the toughest time in his cricketing career where he has not scored a century in over 100 games across formats. He is failing to get going and it seems something is playing on his mind.

After five years in IPL, Kohli registered a golden duck when he was dismissed by Dushmantha Chameera in RCB vs LSG. Matters became worse when Kohli got another duck in the very next game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He is struggling big time and any bowler is looking dangerous in front of him.

Now, with RCB set to play against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday evening, Kohli and his fans will hope for him to get some runs under his belt. But with the likes of Trent Boult bowling upfront, it won't be an easy task for Kohli to get his mojo back.
