Australia dominated Sri Lanka in the first Test match in the Galle International Stadium as they registered a 10-wicket win in the final innings of the game. But in this towering performance on the field, there was one incident which left an Australian fielder flat on the ground.

David Warner was standing in the slips when he was hit on a delicate area when Sri Lanka batter Jeffrey Vandersay was clean bowled by Travis Head. As the ball turned in sharply and went through the batter, Warner in the slips was looking to catch the ball. However, he was unaware that the ball has already hit the bails. As he went for the catch, one bail flew and hit Warner in the groin area and left him in pain.
