Mumbai Indians' new batting sensation Dewald Brevis is impressing everyone with his fearless shots. The 18-year-old made headlines after he smashed four consecutive sixes to Rahul Chahar a few days ago. He once again put a show against Lucknow Super Giants as he smashed a quickfire 31 off 13 balls. Brevis hit Dushmantha Chameera for six and two fours in one over.

He then also took on Avesh Khan in the next over. The 18-year-old hit two consecutive boundaries off Avesh Khan. This fearless hitting from Brevis earned him a lot of praise from cricketers from around the globe. England all-rounder Ben Stokes also looked highly impressed with the youngster as he tweeted "Brevis=Player".

However, the batter was dismissed as soon as Stokes' tweet came. Seeing this, Stokes immediately reacted. The Englishman apologized for jinxing Brevis as he wrote "Sorry Brevis".

Brevis impresses!

Coming to his short cameo in the middle, the 18-year-old South African played some scintillating shots. He hit Dushmantha Chameera for a maximum with sheer audacity. He picked the bones out of a length delivery as he dispatched it into the long-on stands. He then beautifully read two slower ones from Chameera and played two shots off the back foot for two boundaries.

Brevis did not hold back against Avesh Khan as well. On the second ball of Avesh's second over, Brevis heaved an over-pitched delivery from Khan towards the mid-wicket region. On the next ball, the right-handed batter hit a boundary with brute force straight down the ground. However, Avesh had the last laugh as Brevis perished to a full toss from the bowler. He tried to take on that as well but ended up handing a dolly to the cover's fielder.
