The much-anticipated IPL 2022 Eliminator is underway at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. While fans did have to wait a bit more with the rain delaying the start of play, there has been a lot of drama in the crucial game already. While Lucknow Super Giants got off to a dream start after opting to bowl and getting Faf du Plessis out for a duck, Bangalore have put that behind them in fine fashion.
Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar have since then taken the attack to the opposition with Patidar, particularly, looking to break the shackled and get the boundary shots. The two of them have ensured that Bangalore finish the powerplay at 52/1 with Patidar scoring 33 from 18 balls. While Kohli might have only scored 18 from his 17 deliveries, his gorgeous flick shot in the first ball of the second over was a sight to behold.
Former India captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly who was in attendance for the match could not help but applaud the shot and his reaction has gone viral.
