BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, who previously confirmed that he will not take part in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) Season 2, is set to be part of the league, confirmed the tournament organisers through social media.

Although several of his ex-India teammates have been seen in leagues meant for retired cricketers, Ganguly was neither part of the Road Safety World Series nor did he play in the inaugural season of the Legends League Cricket.

After LLC's confirmation that the BCCI Chief will be a part in the second season of the league, fans might not have to wait for long to see him in cricketing action. LLC took to Instagram to announce the participation of Ganguly in the second season of the league.

LLC wrote, "Once a legend, always a legend! Welcoming Dada aka The Maharaja aka The Price of Calcutta @souravganguly in Legends League Cricket ( @llct20 ) to lead a special mission for a landmark event. Watch dada back in action!"

Ganguly was last seen in the Cricket All-Stars, an exhibition cricket tournament in the United States in 2015. He was part of the Sachin Blasters team which saw the revival of what had been a solid trio for Team India with Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar also part of the top-order in that side.
