SRH vs PBKS ended up being one of the most exciting low-scoring thriller in IPL history. PBKS only managed to score 125 runs in the 1st innings as Jason Holder, Sandeep Sharma and Rashid Khan bowled terrific spells to trouble the PBKS batting line up. Holder, with 3/19 was the pick of the bowlers as he picked the key wickets of KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal and Deepak Hooda.

SRH never got going in their chase as all batters struggled under Mohammed Shami and Ravi Bishnoi's attacking spell. Shami picked the wickets of big guns David Warner and Kane Williamson. Ravi Bishnoi's brilliant spell ensured that SRH middle-order collapsed as he got the wickets of Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav and Abdul Samad. Jason Holder fought single-handedly for his team but unfortunately it ended in vain as they lost the game by just 5 runs.
