SunRisers Hyderabad have finally registered a win in 2nd phase of IPL 2021, with the help of quickfire knock from Jason Roy and skipper Kane Williamson's elegant fifty. Despite Sanju Samson's threatening batting, SRH managed to restrict Rajasthan Royals to a total of just 164 runs. Siddarth Kaul picked up 2 wickets with the ball while Sandeep Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan took 1 wicket each.

SRH bringing in Jason Roy, Abhishek Sharma and Priyam Garg in the place of David Warner, Kedar Jadhav and Manish Pandey worked in their favour. SRH were in comfortable position throughout the 2nd innings despite RR trying their choking methods like they did against PBKS in the earlier game. The move to introduce Chetan Sakariya in the 12th over didn't help Rajasthan's cause as SRH ended up winning the game comfortably by 7 wickets.
