Sri Lanka Cricket announces change in timings for white-ball series against India

All the six matches of India vs Sri Lanka series will be played at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.

After a COVID-19 scare in the Sri Lankan team, the white-ball series against India had to be postponed. The tentative schedule of the series had been released earlier, which has now been officially confirmed by the Sri Lankan cricket board. The schedule for India vs Sri Lanka series is as follows:

ODI Series

1st ODI: July 18

2nd ODI: July 20

3rd ODI: July 23

T20I Series

1st T20I: July 25

2nd T20I: July 27

3rd T20I: July 29

At what time will the matches begin?

It must be noted that there has been a slight change in the match timings. All the three ODIs will be day-night affairs and are set to begin from 3 PM IST onwards. On the other hand, the three T20Is will commence from 8 PM IST  onwards.

Where are the matches being played?

All the six matches of India vs Sri Lanka series will be played at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo. It is one of the most iconic stadiums in Sri Lanka and has been chosen to host all the six matches to avoid any travel for the players, staff and officials amid the ongoing pandemic. A bio-bubble will be created in Colombo to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the series.
