Summer Cricket Club (SCC) put up a brilliant all-round show to defeat Hawa Mahal Cricket Club (HMCC) by 5 wickets in the final of the Sspark T20 Cricket Cup. After getting an invitation to bowl first at the Panther Cricket Stadium in Jaipur, SCC bowled out HMCC for mere 121 runs in 18 overs. Chasing the paltry target, SCC got home easily with five wickets in hand and 34 balls to spare.

In the first innings, the bowlers of Summer Cricket Club wreaked havoc as Hawa Mahal lost their first wicket at a score of 4 runs. After that Sachin and Praduman added 37 runs for the second wicket before the latter got dismissed and this opened the floodgates. SCC bowlers took toll of it and ensured that wickets fell at regular intervals for HWCC since then. Vinay Ameria and Rohit Khichar returned identical figures of 3/22 while Savya Gajraj took 2/27.

While chasing the small target of 122 runs, SCC too lost some wickets at the beginning but an unbeaten 50 off just 38 balls from middle-order batsman Suraj Ahuja made the match a one-sided affair. Ashok and Viney were the pick of the bowlers for HWCC with figures of 2/35 and 2/17 respectively.
