After winning the toss at Shere Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday, New Zealand put themselves to bat on a tough surface in Dhaka and equalled their record of lowest total in T20Is. On the other hand, despite the initial setback (7/2) in reply, Bangladesh managed to chase down the small target of 61 runs convincingly with 5 overs to spare. Shakib Al Hasan was star of the match. The all-rounder bowled an economic spell and picked up 2 wickets with the ball before scoring the important 25 runs with the bat.
