KKR ended up winning a thriller by 4 wickets against RCB in the eliminator with the help of Sunil Narine’s terrific all-round show. Initially, after winning the toss, RCB opted to bat first and posted an ordinary total of 138/7. Bangalore batsmen had no answers for Sunil Narine’s mystery spin and he ended up with impressive bowling figures of 4/21 (in 4 overs). RCB started off well initially in the powerplay overs but as game progressed, they lost momentum with bat.

Chasing this total, KKR started strongly in power-play overs. Again in the middle overs, they lost some momentum but Sunil Narine’s 3 sixes off Dan Christian over helped KKR’s cause. In the end overs, when KKR looked like choking the match, Shakib Al Hasan and Eoin Morgan sealed the match for them with 4 wickets in hand.
