In a big blow, Mumbai Indians star player is set to miss the franchise’s opening game in the IPL 2022. Notably, Suryakumar Yadav picked up a hairline fracture on this thumb in February this year.

According to recent reports, the 31-year-old suffered this fracture during the India vs West Indies final T20I match on February 22. He is currently at the Nation Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, where he is undergoing rehabilitation.

However, his loss will be a massive point to address by Rohit Sharma & Co., who’ll begin their tournament against Delhi Capitals on March 27. Suryakumar Yadav, who has played a pivotal role in the MI line-up was roped in the year 2019. He is MIs one of the top Indian international batter alongside skipper Rohit Sharma.

Mumbai to consider Anmolpreet
