While there was a 3-hour delayed start to the second T20I between West Indies and India at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts, it was quite the start that the home team were looking for. Not only did they win the toss and opt to bowl but were off to a dream start as they got rid of India captain Rohit Sharma first ball. Not much later, they got rid of Suryakumar Yadav who had opened the innings along with Rohit.

However, despite being there for a brief duration what caught the eye of fans was that Suryakumar was wearing Arshdeep Singh's jersey. The images of the same are trending online.

Notably, the second match of the five-game series was initially pushed back by a couple of hours due to a delay in the arrival of team luggage. However, later it was informed that the game will be delayed by 1 more hour with the first ball set to be bowled at 11:00 pm (IST).

India are already 1-0 up in the five-match series having beaten the hosts by 68 runs in the opening T20I at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago. From that game, India have made a solitary change to their XI with Ravi Bishnoi missing out and Avesh Khan coming in. The hosts too made a couple of changes with Keemo Paul and Sharmarh Brooks making way for Brandon King and Devon Thomas.
