After a successful conclusion of the BWF India Open, the Badminton Association of India (BAI) is all set to host the second badminton tournament of the 2022 World Tour season, the Syed Modi India International 2022. The Super 300 tournament will start on 18 January and will be played for 5 days till 23rd January. The Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium, Lucknow will host the tournament. Players from around the globe will fight for the title along with a cash prize of USD 150,000.

India's top badminton stars including PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth, P Kashyap, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty pair will take part in the tournament. A few International names include Singapore's Yeo Jai Min, Russia's Evgeniya Kosetskaya, Canada's Brian Yang will also feature in the event.
