Team India is set to have a busy travelling year. As per the itinerary, team India will travel to England to complete one rescheduled 5th Test match followed by three ODIs and as many as T20Is. Post England tour, the team will make their first trip to the Caribbean islands since 2019 to play the limited-overs format of the game.

According to our sources, Team India will travel to Sri Lanka and  Zimbabwe after England series. However, more details are still awaited about the number of matches which will be played in both series. Following the SA tour, Team India will host West Indies and Sri Lanka before the Indian Premier League. The three ODIs will be played on February 6, 9 and 12, while 3 T20Is will take place on February 15, 18 and 20.

Sri Lanka are scheduled to play 2 Tests and 3 T20Is in India. The two Tests will kick off on February 25 and March 5. The three T20Is will be played on March 13, 15 and 18.

The month of April and May are booked for the Indian Premier League. The addition of more matches will mean a delayed end to the league. This year, India will host SA in 5 T20Is on June 9, 12, 14, 17 and 19 in Chennai, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Rajkot and Delhi, respectively. T20 World Cup in Australia will be the team's biggest assignment as the Rohit Sharma-led side will land in Australia for T20 World Cup 2022 after the Asia Cup. The ICC event will be played from October 16 to November 13.
