It is a common sight these days to see a bit of banter between cricketers and athletes on social media. Not only sporting stars but even the teams usually take a dig at each other, especially when it comes to the Indian Premier League. However, one particular post from Rajasthan Royals seems to have irked their own captain Sanju Samson.

The franchise-based in Jaipur shared an edited image of Samson taking a dig at the Kerala cricketer with the caption: "kya khoob lagte ho." However, the same did not go down too well with Samon who not only responded to the Tweet but has reportedly filed a complaint of the social media team with the management.

Samson hit back at the post by commenting: "Its ok for friends to do all this but teams should be professional..@rajasthanroyals."

Here is Samson's tweet:

Soon after Samson's comment, the original post from Rajasthan Royals was deleted. Later, reports have suggested that RR social media admin could be fired as the 27-year-old wicketkeeper batter has raised the issue with the management.

Notably, Rajasthan's social media is known for such banters and has time and again engaged in some hilarious content. While none of those have, as per the knowledge in the public domain, hurt any cricketer or team, this time around, Samson was perhaps in no mood for a joke before the start of the season.

Rajasthan Royals will play their first match of IPL 2022 on March 29 against the SunRisers Hyderabad at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
