Ajaz Patel is a name that everyone is talking about on Saturday, all thanks to what the New Zealand left-arm spinner did against India in the 2nd Test. The 33-year-old, who was born in Mumbai in 1988, returned to the city of dreams and created history. He bowled brilliantly on a pitch which was assisting the spinners and eventually finished the first innings with unbelievable figures of 47.5-12-119-10.

Taking all the 10 wickets in an innings is a very rare feat in Test cricket as he became only the first ever player in 21st century to secure this achievement to his name. As expected, the whole fraternity of the game was left in awe of Ajaz Patel as Twitter was flooded with posts around appreciation and praises of the Kiwi spinner.

Anil Kumble, who is one of the only 3 players to have taken 10 wickets in an innings in Tests, welcomed Ajaz Patel to the exclusive club which also features Jim Laker. Harbhajan Singh also expressed his astonishment as he took a moment to stand and applaud the special accomplishment by Ajaz Patel.

Shardul Thakur, who is not a part of India's Test squad, was certainly watching the match as he also showed great sportsmanship to praise Ajaz Patel. Mike Hesson also admitted that he is extremely proud of his fellow Kiwi's performance.

Australia's white-ball captain Aaron Finch went on to claim that Ajaz's historic spell of bowling was the most amazing things he has ever seen. Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag was quick to point out that the left-arm spinner was born in Mumbai and he created history at his birth place 33 years later.

The commentators and cricket presenters also expressed their opinions on Ajaz's achievement. While Harsha Bhogle was in awe of the fairytale, Ayaz Menon admitted that the left-arm spinner will now be remembered forever because of his rare feat. Jatin Sapru and Gaurav Kapur also came up with witty tweets to reflect on the history spell of bowling.

It was undoubtedly a big day for Ajaz Patel and as the fraternity stated, he has now etched his name in history books and this day will be remembered by fans for years to come.
