The Round of 16 match between Sentinels and Soniqs in the VCT North America Stage 3: Challengers 1 almost produced a huge upset. After losing the Game 1 on Icebox, the Sentinels fought their way back into the match by winning Game 2 in Bind. With the decider on Haven, TenZ was at the helm of things as he guided his team to 13-5 win. Shroud recently reacted to Sentinels' victory and was in high praise of TenZ.

Shroud was absolutely impressed with TenZ's performance

TenZ registered scores of 21/12/4 in the decider and finished with overall stats of 45/42/14. It was a brilliant performance from him and Shroud did not shy away from appreciating him for some incredible moves. Reflecting on one incident when TenZ killed four Soniq players in a matter of few seconds, Shroud said, "That was actually kind of sick. They focused their attention so hard on that Phoenix Ult, and he just came on in."

Who said TenZ is overrated: Shroud

Shroud also slammed the critics of TenZ who have termed him 'overrated' in past. Hailing TenZ as the best Valorant player in the world right now, the 27-year-old said, "Who said he is overrated? He is the best player in the world right now. That’s just a fact."

While it is still a debatable opinion, one can be assured that if TenZ can continue to produce performances like this leading his team to more victories, all the critics will be put to rest in times to come.
