Although pitch intruder Jarvo has hogged all the limelight for the wrong reasons lately, a social media post seemingly from his account after India's win at the Oval has gone viral on the internet. While he yet again stormed onto the pitch on Day 2 of the fourth Test match, he wanted to bowl when Jasprit Bumrah was ready in his run-up. In attempting to bowl a delivery, Jarvo collided with the non-striker Johnny Bairstow and had to be taken off the field by the security officials. However, by then he had achieved his primary objective of amusing a section of the audience even as other fans booed as they were enjoying a fascinating day of Test match cricket.

Post India's first win in 50 years at the Oval, a Facebook account with user name Jarvo 69 thanked India's pace spearhead Bumrah. The user did do as it was Bumrah who had dismissed the English batter, Bairstow. Jarvo said that he is happy with Bairstow getting out for a duck as Bairstow had scolded him the other day when he had collided with the batter.

"I want to thank Jasprit Bumrah. Because he got Jonny Bairstow out for 0 runs. This Jonny Bairstow scolded me the other day," the post read.

Bumrah said give me the ball: Virat Kohli

Notably, Bumrah bowled a brilliant spell on Day 5 at the Oval which changed the course of the match. While the Englishmen were offering some real resistance till lunch, Bumrah's spell in which he used the reverse swing and yorkers to his advantage in the second spell helped India scalp six in the session to just about seal the deal. Umesh Yadav wrapped up the tail in the final session.

Later England captain Joe Root also admitted that Bumrah's spell, in which he picked up the wickets of Ollie Pope and Johnny Bairstow, completely took the match away from them. India skipper Virat Kohli was also in praise for Bumrah and revealed that he had asked for the ball himself after he spotted that the ball had started reversing.

"As soon as the ball started reversing, Bumrah said give me the ball. He bowled that spell and swung the game in our favour with those two huge wickets,” Kohli said at the post-match presentation.
