India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was in sensational form in the first India bowling innings of the ongoing Pink-ball Test match against Sri Lanka. While it was the spinners who dominated for the visiting team in Bengaluru, Bumrah led the charge for Team India as he completed his maiden five-wicket haul in India.

The right arm seam bowler finished with figures of 5/24, also completing 300 wickets in international cricket. The Mumbai Indians star has been an asset to the Indian team and is also one of the members of the think tank, being handed over the responsibility of being the vice-captain for the ongoing series.

Following Bumrah's splendid performance, social media has been all in praise for the 28-year-old. While some said that the pacer deserves appreciation for his performance in conditions that are known to be spin-friendly, others simply rated him as one of the "Greatest in the world."
