Time and again, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has shown why it is reckoned as one of the best T20 leagues in the world. Although the league stage of the tournament is almost done, the last four teams who will play knockout games are yet to be decided. Seven teams are still fighting from the three left spots.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have also kept themselves alive in the race with a win over five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI). The 2016-champions defeated Mumbai by 3 runs to keep their hopes alive. But it was not an easy game for the Orange Army. They came into this game with five consecutive losses in their bag.

Hyderabad started well with the bat as they posted 193/6 in their 20 overs. But Mumbai batters also came prepared for the assault they launched on the SRH bowlers. First, it was Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan and then it was Tim David. The Australian aggregated 26 runs in T Natarajan’s over to keep MI in the hunt. However, he lost his wicket in the same over, giving SRH an advantage.

Meanwhile, SRH bowlers also did a terrific job of not letting this game slip from their grasp. Umran Malik with his three wickets set the tone and then Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Fazalhaq Farooqi sealed it off for SRH. As this game swung like a pendulum, Twitter users shared their emotions.
