Geez, what a game! The Monday evening was a treat for IPL fans as KKR and RR produced a thriller in Match 30 of IPL 2022. There was a century, a hat-trick, two half-centuries, a five-wicket haul. The Brabourne Stadium was on fire as both RR and KKR players produced an epic battle. After being put in to bat first, RR registered the highest total of the season (217/5) on the back of a sensational century from Jos Buttler.
KKR also gave a fitting reply as they fought till the end. Shreyas Iyer and Aaron Finch put on a century stand. Even after Finch departed, Iyer continued the onslaught. But RR were brought back in the game by Yuzi Chahal took a hat-trick as well as a five-wicket haul. Chahal got rid of KKR captain, Venkatesh Iyer, Shivam Mavi, and Pat Cummins in the same over.
As soon as Chahal completed his over, it seemed KKR will lose. But Umesh Yadav had different plans. The KKR pacer produced a quickfire knock of 21 off just 9 balls. But in the end, it was RR who finished over the line and won the game by 7 runs.
Things got tenser and tenser as the match progressed and thus Twitter users shared incredible memes.
