Day 3 of the Tokyo Summer Paralympics 2020 proved to a historic one for India as paddler Bhavinaben Patel secured the first medal after defeating Serbia’s Borislava Peric-Rankovic in straight sets to enter the semi-finals. Not only Patel, but archer Rakesh Kumar registered his personal best record to finish third in the Men’s Individual Compound with a tally of 699 points.

However, it was the People’s Republic of China who once again fetched the limelight on Day 3 of the Paralympic Games by securing a total of 20 gold medals. The second place is secured by Great Britian with 9 gold medals, Russia, who also have 9 gold medals. Having said that with multiple events scheduled on August 27, Friday at the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 Games, let us focus upon the medalists from some key events.
