Yet another day at the Tokyo Paralympic Games where the Indian contingent have secured multiple medals. Starting with the 19-year-old shooting sensation Avani Lekhara who became the first Indian woman to collect two medals in the same summer games after she won a bronze in the R8-Women’s 50m Rifle event. Then, Praveen Kumar emphasized upon India’s dominance in the track and field event when he secured a silver in the Men’s high jump event.

However, the one thing that remained similar even on Day 10 was China’s domination over all the other contingents as they ended the day with a tally of 85 gold medals. However, with the race wide open to secure the second spot, Great Britain are placed behind China with a tally of 37 gold medals. Followed by USA with 34 gold medals, who edge RPC by the silver medal differentiation. Having said that, let us take a look upon the medalists from some key events.
