Day 4 of the Tokyo Summer Paralympic 2020 Games only went onto emphasise upon the legacy of Indian paddler Bhavinaben Patel, who defied all odds to pave her way through to the gold medal match against the world no. 1 Zhou Ying. After a hard-fought effort, archer Rakesh Kumar also kept India’s hopes alive to secure a medal as he defeated Hong Kong’s K.C.Ngai in the 1/16 Elimination round.

Apart from which, Great Britain had a busy day on the podium as the contingent managed to secure more than 6 gold medals on Day 4. Safe to say that their hard-work managed to lift them up to the second position behind China, who remains at the top of the medal tally with a total of 31 gold medals.
