New Zealand speed gun Trent Boult is considered one of the best in the business. He is currently playing for Mumbai Indians in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. While his lethal bowling troubles the batsman in the game, he recently made a special request to his Mumbai Indians teammates.

During their game against Kolkata Knight Riders, Boult's stunning bowling in the final over helped Mumbai Indians clinched the nail-biting thriller. Boult defended 15 runs and claimed two big wickets and snatched the game from KKR. After the win, when the entire squad was celebrating in the dressing room, Trent Boult requested the team to not force him to bat again as well.

His request came after a dismal show from the middle-order saw the two-time defending champions struggling in the middle against KKR. Andre Russell did the main damage in the last few overs of the first innings and Boult was the only player who was unbeaten as KKR removed the remaining wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

"Brilliant to get over the line in the end. Obviously nice to hang in there. Some good lessons out there... Let's take those and move forward into the next part of the tournament. But don't please make me bat again, alright? I don't want it," said Trent Boult after the win against KKR.

But it seems his teammates didn't take his request seriously as Trent Boult had to bat once again in the ongoing match against Delhi Capitals. Brilliant bowling from Delhi bowlers, especially Amit Mishra, who picked up 4/24 in his four-over spell and Avesh Khan, who claimed 2/15, dismantled Mumbai's batting order. Although Rohit Sharma top-scored with 44, no other batsman could manage to contribute more. And, this brought Trent Boult in the middle where he faced one delivery and scored one run as well.
