IPL 2021 witnessed another one-sided contest on Thursday as Delhi Capitals registered one of the most convincing performances of the season as they defeated KKR by 7 wickets in only 16.3 overs in Ahmedabad. After being put to bat first, Eoin Morgan's side had another disappointing outing with the bat on Thursday. The top order failed to show intent and the skipper's woes continued after he was dismissed on a duck. Although Andre Russell (45* off 27) played a valiant knock, he could only guide the team to a modest total of 154/6 in 20 overs. While the team in purple and gold would have thought of giving a touch fight in the second innings, their hopes were completely blown away by some magnificent striking from Prithvi Shaw who smashed six consecutive boundaries off the first over of Shivam Mavi.

While Shaw went on to make 82 runs off 41 deliveries, Twitterati went completely berserk as the fans hailed the youngster for his heroics.
