The match no. 23 in IPL 2021 was a scary one for the fans of all the teams as MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings literally announced that they mean business this season. As the action shifted to Delhi, the Yellow Army continued from where they left in Mumbai as they absolutely destroyed Sunrisers Hyderabad in a one-sided affair on Wednesday.

After winning the toss, SRH decided to bat first because of their recent struggles while chasing. However, their fortunes did not change as skipper David Warner struggled throughout the innings. The Aussie took 55 deliveries to score 57 runs and was brutally trolled by the Twitterati. Meanwhile, comeback hero Manish Pandey was hailed for his fantastic knock.

With SRH struggling to reach a respectable total, the fiery cameos by Kane Williamson and Kedar Jadhav in the end got them to 171/3 in 20 over. While Kane was once again praised by the fans, Jadhav really set the Twitter on fire with his 4-ball 12 run knock against his former team.

In reply, the CSK openers sent the bowlers to the cleaners as they took the game away from Orange Army with a 129-run partnership. While Faf du Plessis (56 off 38) anchored the chase, Ruturaj Gaikwad (75 off 44) played a blistering knock to set up a comfortable win for Thala's men as they went on to chase the target in 18.3 overs, with 7 wickets remaining. The fans produced some hilarious memes on this one-sided contest as SRH lost their sixth game of the season.
