CSK v RR

The match no. 12 in IPL 2021 turned back the clock for fans as Chennai Super Kings, just like the old times, produced an absolute masterclass performance to hand Rajasthan Royals a thumping 45-run defeat.

After being asked to bat first, the Yellow Army played some aggressive cricket right from the beginning as Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali went after the bowlers. Late cameos from Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo guided CSK’s total to 188/9 in 20 overs. It was the youngster Chetan Sakariya (3/36) who starred with the ball for Rajasthan Royals.

In reply, the Men in Pink were once cruising towards the target with Jos Buttler (49 off 35) playing an explosive knock at the top. However, things turned upside down for RR as they surrendered against the spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja (2/28) and Moeen Ali (3/7). The epic collapse from 85/3 to 95/7 completely changed the whole dynamics of the contest as CSK registered a comprehensive win on Tuesday.

As Thala’s side produced an outstanding performance, the Twitterati were also in full form as they came up with some hilarious memes to troll Rajasthan Royals, who suffered their second defeat of the season. From Unadkat’s expensive spell to a dramatic collapse later, the netizens fired some hilarious memes on the RR side left, right and centre.
