The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League has brought a few exceptional raw talents to everyone's attention. Sunrisers Hyderabad pace sensation Umran Malik is one of them, as he has got all the world's attention for his unprecedented pace and wicket-taking abilities. Being trained under the guidance of Dale Steyn, Malik has sharpened his skills and due to his regular breakthroughs during the game, Hyderabad is doing exceptionally well after the first couple of shocks.

Malik has become a regular receiver of Swiggy fastest delivery in SRH's respective matches and is often being hailed as the perfect brand ambassador of the brand who vows to be the fastest food delivery app.

An interesting incident took place on Twitter when Lucknow Super Giants' cricketer Krishnappa Gowtham tweeted about not getting the food ordered by Swiggy on time on Twitter. Many cricket fans took a dig at the app by suggesting Gowtham to get the food delivered by Hyderabad pacer. Few Twitter users also suggested trying Lockie Ferguson, who is equally fast as Umran Malik.

However, this is not the first incident when an IPL cricketer expressed his disappointment with Swiggy's service. Earlier, Gujarat Titans' opener Shubman Gill too showed his distress with the app by posting a complaint on Twitter. Ironically, Swiggy, who is facing the heat of players for not delivering food on time, is sponsoring the fastest delivery award in the tournament.

Speaking of Malik, the Hyderabad pacer has raised many eyebrows with his sheer pace and has been regarded as the next big thing in Indian cricket. Few game greats have even opined the BCCI to include the pacer in the national squad and nourish his talent. Malik currently has 15 wickets from nine games and has been one of the front-runners for purple cap as he is four wickets behind leading wicket-taker Yuzvendra Chahal.

Umran also holds the record for the fastest delivery in the ongoing season when he clocked 154 kmph to Mahendra Singh Dhoni against Chennai Super Kings. Umran bowled the delivery in the 10th over of the first innings to CSK skipper MS Dhoni.
