After a wait of almost one month and 32 games, the El Clasico of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is finally underway at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Although both teams are struggling this season, their fans were eagerly waiting for the faceoff. And the captains took care of the entertainment right away, from the flip of the coin.

Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma and Chennai captain Ravindra Jadeja indulged in a little hilarious banter during the toss which left the fans in splits. Rohit Sharma who is known for his funky nature tried to pull Jadeja's leg after the latter opted to bowl first. Right after Jadeja finished explaining the his decision and the changes made by CSK for tonight's game, Rohit asked the CSK captain if he had opted to bat first. Rohit held Jadeja and said "Batting bola na tu (You said batting right)".

Jadeja's decision reaps rewards for CSK

Ravindra Jadeja's decision to bowl first in the El Clasico reaped rewards for his team as the defending champions removed both MI openers in the very first over. Mukesh Choudhary put on a show against Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan to dismiss the batters in his first five deliveries of the innings. While he got Sharma with a slower delivery, Choudhary cleaned Kishan with a ripper.

The left-arm pacer did not stop there. He kept troubling the MI batters in his next two overs as well. In his second over of the day, Choudhary got rid of Dewald Brevis. The pacer bowled a cutter into the pitch which the batter could only perry it into the hands of the keeper. On the first delivery of his third over, Choudhary almost got Tilak Varma but Bravo dropped a regulation catch at slips.
