With the ICC Men's T20 World Cup set to get underway from October 17, there is an unprecedented buzz around the world tournament. Usually, there are a few dull days especially for Indian fans after the high of a tournament like the Indian Premier League, however, this time around there is no time to relax as the World Cup is starting just two days after the final of IPL 2021.

Before the start of the tournament, the microblogging website Twitter has launched hashtags that will activate the emojis representing that particular team in the T20 World Cup. The same was made public in the Twitter Sports verified account on which a thread was posted showing the various teams as well as the hashtag and emojis associated with it.

Netizens are likely to give a good response to the hashtags and emojis using which they can opine on their teams' performance and cheer for their favourite stars at the World Event.

As far as India's campaign in the T20 World Cup is concerned, the team will first play a couple of warm-up matches against England and Australia. While they will take on England in a practice game on October 18 at the ICC Cricket Ground, Dubai, they will face Australia on October 20 at the same venue. The India-England fixture is set to be a 7:30 pm (IST) start, with the Australia game set for a 3:30 pm (IST) beginning.

As far as India's Super 12 campaign is concerned, it begins with a blockbuster of a clash against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium on October 24. Although the Men in Green have had their moments of domination in this epic rivalry, in the T20 World Cup it is the Virat Kohli-led side that enjoys a 100 per cent track record.

In fact, Pakistan have not won a single game against India in World Cups- both 50 Overs and 20 overs. However, they have a good record in UAE conditions and would fancy their chances of upsetting India in this fixture.
