The 7th match between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals in the ongoing Indian Premier League has started with a bang. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bowl and their decision proved to be fruitful as their pace spearhead Jaydev Unadkat stole the limelight with three early wickets.

Unadkat didn't feature in the first match against Punjab Kings and another key player Jofra Archer too wasn't there for RR. The side suffered miserably as their opponent managed a massive total of 221 runs. Although captain Sanju Samson hammered a century (119 off 6, 12 fours, 7 sixes), his efforts went in vain as they were short of 4 runs.

However, the 2008 IPL champions took the right decision by bringing back Jaydev Unadkat and he struck in his very first over. On the final ball of the over saw Prithvi Shaw went for a flick but got a leading edge that went straight to the backward point and David Miller took an easy catch. The last hero for DC in their last match went for 2 runs.

Unadkat came back in the 4th over and dismissed Shikhar Dhawan on the very first ball. Dhawan tried to play a scoop against a full-length ball but mistimed it and Sanju Samson took a stunner while diving full length to his right. Dhawan fell for 9.

The pacer struck again in his next over when he picked up Ajinkya Rahane's wicket with a relatively slower ball. Rahane hit the ball but found the bowler only and got out for 8 runs. Unadkat's brilliant spell reduced Delhi Capitals to 36 for 3 within the powerplay.
