Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant produced a gem of an innings on Day 2 of the final Test against England on Friday. When the youngster came in to bat, India were in a state of bother with the score reading 80/4. However, the southpaw held his nerves and smashed his third Test hundred (101 off 118). This was also Pant's maiden Test hundred at home.

Pant produces an outrageous moment of sheer brilliance

As the southpaw was approaching a well-deserved century, he produced a jaw-dropping moment that left everyone in shock. Batting on 89, Pant played an astonishing reverse lap over the slip off one of the best pacers in the world, James Anderson.

The 23-year-old continued to wreak havoc as he eventually completed his century in style with a mammoth six off Joe Root.

However, Anderson got the final word of Rishabh Pant, dismissing him at 101 in the 84.1 delivery of the Indian innings. The hosts are currently leading by 89 runs as Day 2 comes to an end.
