Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant produced a gem of an innings on Day 2 of the final Test against England on Friday. When the youngster came in to bat, India were in a state of bother with the score reading 80/4. However, the southpaw held his nerves and smashed his third Test hundred (101 off 118). This was also Pant’s maiden Test hundred at home.
Pant produces an outrageous moment of sheer brilliance
As the southpaw was approaching a well-deserved century, he produced a jaw-dropping moment that left everyone in shock. Batting on 89, Pant played an astonishing reverse lap over the slip off one of the best pacers in the world, James Anderson.

This guy called Rishabh Pant – Goes to England, performs there. Goes to Australia twice, performs there, TWICE. Comes to India, performs here as well.
This guy is all set to dominate the rest of the world. Well played, Rishabh Pant. #INDvENG

I see genuine appreciation for Rishabh Pant from across the globe. Adam Gilchrist was probably the last cricketer who was as loved overcoming all geographical barriers.
This guy is going to be an absolute folk hero in the years to come! 👍👍
