The first day of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction is turning out to be a source of memes for Twitter users as franchises make some interesting purchases. While earlier in the day, Rajasthan Royals roped in R Ashwin to unite with his Mankad buddy Jos Buttler, Lucknow Super Giants has got hold of Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya.
The two players share an interesting history and now they will be playing for the same team in the IPL for the next three years. Notably, Hooda was forced to leave Team Baroda after a spat with then captain Krunal Pandya. Twitter users were quick to react and come up with hilarious memes as soon as LSG completed the purchase.
