The ongoing World Test Championship final against India and New Zealand is proving to be a true nail-biter, especially on its last day. After conceding a lead of 32 runs in the first half of the game, Team India are trying their best to avoid giving New Zealand an edge in the grand finale.

India stepped into the match on Day 6 with their scorecard reading 64/2. Overnight batsmen Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara couldn't capitalise on their starts and fell in the first hour of the game. While the Indian skipper scored 13 off 29, the team's No. 3 batsman scored 15 off 80 balls.

It was then when the hero of Brisbane Test, Rishabh Pant, arrived to the crease. Sensing that a defensive approach could get him out without scoring, Pant started attacking the New Zealand bowlers. India later lost Ajinkya Rahane as well and got reduced to 109/5 but Pant carried on to play an attacking knock. His fiery knock in no time saw him getting applause from many, however, it was Pujara, who had to bear the brunt of Pant's smashing. The Twitterati started comparing Pant's knock to that of Pujara and it was the latter who was at the receiving end.
