The fifth round of Formula One is all set to take place in the United States of America, and icons from different field of sports will grace the motorsports event. The likes of LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, David Beckham, the Williams sisters, and Wyclef are amongst notable celebrities who will be present amongst spectators to witness the thrilling race of the season.
However, LeBron James’ presence in the F1 stand has been drawing mixed reactions from the NBA fans, as many have raised questions over his integrity after his team could not qualify for the NBA playoffs. LA Lakers, who clinched the 2019-2020 titles, lost their chance to be eligible after losing 121-110 to the Phoenix Suns in the first week of April. Injury driven season has been major disappointment for LA Lakers after acquiring the services of Russel Westbrook to pair up with Lebron James.
Lakers fans have now raised their disappointment on social media platforms, stating that James should not enjoy his time off on the F1 circuit.

F1 is to have two races in the US this season. First at Miami, the second one later this year at the Circuit of the Americas in Texas. Notably, Formula One has reached Miami, Florida, for the first time in motorsports history as the new circuit in the Magic City will make its debut as one of the three circuits in the USA alongside the Austrian Grand Prix and the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
