In a recent move, former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has joined Pakistan Cricket Board’s umpiring and match referee course. PCB has introduced online Level 1, 2, 3 courses to develop match officials and have successfully concluded the Level 1 training. Besides Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif were also punished for spot-fixing along with the 36-year-old who was the then captain of Pakistan. With the news coming in of Butt taking the course for umpiring and match referee training, fans are shocked at the ironic move and have hilariously reacted on the same.

Fans of the world of cricket are unable to process the shocking move

Some fans are taking a dig at PCB and Butt, sarcastically appreciating the move

Others feel that this is rather ironical given that he himself was banned for fixing
