Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s 71st international century drought continues as the 32-year old got out on Day 3 of the World Test Championship final on 44. Kohli looked steady on Saturday, stitching a partnership alongside Ajinkya Rahane to stabilize India’s innings.

However, the Indian captain got out early on, in the first session on Day 3 by his RCB teammate Kyle Jamieson. Virat Kohli last scored an international century in the pink ball Test at Eden Gardens against Bangladesh on November, 2019. The Indian captain then became the fastest to score 70 international centuries, but the hunt for his 71st century has continued since then.

It’s almost close to 2 years that the 32-year-old hasn’t scored a ton, and looks like fans and the cricketing world have to wait a little more for the treat. Fans took to Twitter to react to Virat Kohli’s dismissal.

Here are some of the reactions:

Some fans mockingly blamed RCB teammate Jamieson for taking the wicket of his IPL captain

And, the wait for the 71st century continues….
