The UFC Bantamweight belt 259 will witness a pulsating match between Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling. The match will be taking place on 6th March 2021 and oozes excitement and enthrallment. UFC 259 is undoubtedly one of the most-sought after Pay-Per-Views marquee matches and is watched by a myriad of people from all over the world. But this time, the headlines are grabbed for some off-field reasons.

Aljamain Sterling might have waited long to contest in the championship belt, but that hasn’t stopped him from taking a dig over micro-blogging platform, Twitter. His fiery chat with Petr Yan before their game has hogged the limelight and this has amused a lot of fans.

A take to the Twitter banter between Aljamain and Yan

The lead-up to this banter panned out after Aljamain posted a gym video session, to which Yan replied that the contest would not be going till Round 5. This was of course in response to a derogatory post of Yan, targeting Aljamain.

Both the fighters are extremely talented and passionate about their sport. They are legends of the 135-pound division and it is extremely tough to call out a winner ahead of their contest. Yan, who is a great grappler is currently at 15-1 and has had a ten-match winning streak so far. On the other hand, Sterling is sitting at 19-3 and has five wins in a row under his belt. His defense is immaculate and striking is exceptional. All of this makes him a fiery opposition. Indeed, a fiery and exciting match is up for grabs!
