Learning platform Uncademy has shared an inspiring video featuring cricketing great Sachin Tendulkar. The video shows Tendulkar up against the world’s best bowlers like Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar, Brett Lee, Glenn McGrath, Lasith Malinga and Shane Warne. While the Master Blaster did not always get it right and was dismissed for low scores and even received a few blows on his body- something which is also shown in the video- those failure seemed to have fuelled his success which his records are a testimony of.
“The sound of success is loud. But the silence of hard work speaks louder. So, rekindle the dreams, Rebuild the path. Those who crack it seldom give up, for passion is undefeatable,” the post was captioned.
Learning platform ropes in Master Blaster as brand ambassador
Earlier, the learning platform had roped in Sachin Tendulkar as its brand ambassador. The brand wishes to highlight the “never give up” spirit by recalling some of the most challenging times of Tendulkar’s career and his subsequent triumphs as is evident in the short clip. The message they want to give the learners on the platform is that failures are nothing but a stepping stone to success.
As part of the deal between both the parties, Sachin will also share his life lessons through a series of live interactive classes which will also be available free of cost. The company will be looking at deeper content-led integration with Sachin in the sports learning category, details of which are yet to be revealed.
Sehwag, Laxman, Bhogle lead tributes for the special film
The short video is receiving all sorts of appreciation from all corners and the Indian cricket fraternity, in particular, seems pretty pleased with it. While Virender Sehwag wrote, “Brilliant capture of God ji @sachin_rt’s grit and passion. Zaroor dekho, this video is GOLD,” on Twitter, cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle stated, “Many emotions as I watch this. Good on you Unacademy for chronicling the journey of the mighty @sachin_rt.” VVS Laxman also took to social media to express, “The greatest lesson indeed. By the greatest of all time! Kudos to Unacademy for this outstanding film!”
