Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is often known for producing the most highly-anticipated match-ups. It seems like UFC president Dana White has once again been able to give the fans what they have been waiting for quite some time.
'Wonderboy' vs 'Durinho'
As per ESPN's Brett Okamoto, an extremely exciting welterweight fight is on cards this year. Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson is expected to make his much-awaited return against the 2nd ranked Gilbert 'Durinho' Burns. Notably, two of the most lethal fighters in the sport have agreed to face each other at UFC 264 on July 10.
An extremely exciting match-up
The 5th ranked fighter Stephen Thompson (16-4) is coming on the back of two consecutive thrilling wins over Vicente Luque and Geoff Neal. While he would be looking to make a hattrick, Gilbert Burns will be raring to bounce back from the loss against Kamaru Usman at UFC 258 in February.
Although an official announcement has not yet been made, the fans are going gaga over the news of this high-voltage face-off. On one side, there is the American 'Wonderboy' who is continuously proving his mettle even at the age of 38 with his killer performances in the arena. On the other hand, one just can't rule out the Brazilian 'Durinho' either who has an extraordinary diverse variety of skill-sets in his armoury.
