The biggest buzz in Bollywood currently is the high-profile wedding of actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. The two, it has been claimed in several reports, are set to tie the knot anytime in December and it is also being learned that the wedding will take place in Rajasthan. However, the two are making every effort to keep the marriage a private affair with only very close friends and relatives in attendance.
This has reminded the cricket fans of instances of Indian cricket stars keeping their wedding a secret affair, making it formal only after the ceremony concluded.

1. Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli married Anushka Sharma in an all-private wedding ceremony in Italy in 2017 before making it official through a series of pictures that were so aesthetically pleasing that they looked surreal. While the bride looked gorgeous in a hand-embroidered lehenga, Virat also donned a sherwani of a brand he endorses- Sabyasachi. Only later did the pictures and videos of their wedding emerge on social media and there is no celebrity wedding that happens without a mention of this one. The couple has become the media's favourite and has even earned the nickname of Virushka.
2. Jasprit Bumrah
Another secret wedding of an Indian cricketer was the wedding of Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah. While he took a break from a bio-secure bubble citing personal reasons, there were speculations revolving around his marriage. Initially, his name had been linked to the wrong person but later as it turned out the Mumbai Indians pacer married sports presenter Sanjana Ganeshan in a private affair in Goa in March earlier this year. Yet again the pictures from the wedding shared by Bumrah and Sanjana themselves and the couple looked adorable together in the traditional outfits.
3. Irfan Pathan
Yet another cricketer who not only kept his marriage a private affair but even keeps his family life away from the limelight is Irfan Pathan. Irfan might have announced his retirement from international cricket but continues to feature in leagues like the Lanka Premier League and the Road Safety World Series. Pathan had tied the knot with Safa Baig a former model from Saudi Arabia. Baig is often spotted wearing a burqa in Irfan's pictures and her Instagram account is all about their son Imran. The two got married in 2016.
